Ich war neugierig, ob es Philip Marlowe Stories von anderen Autoren als Raymond Chandler gibt. Anlass war ein neues Buch, das ich einer Verlagsvorschau auf das neue Jahr gefunden habe. Das Ergebnis meiner Suche möchte ich euch nicht vorenthalten. Es fing bereits in den 80ern an, das Autoren und Autorinnen Stories mit Philip Marlowe schrieben. Eine Kurzgeschichtensammlung erschien bei Bastei Lübbe in 2 Bänden. Robert B. Parker durfte 1989 "Poodle Springs" vollenden, den Raymond Chandler leider nicht zu Ende schreiben konnte. Es folgte 1991 eine Fortsetzung zu "The Big Sleep". Beide Romane erschienen auf Deutsch bei Goldmann. Danach folgte eine Pause bis 2014. John Banville (Benjamin Black) schrieb "The Black-Eyed Blonde", der vor kurzem verfilmt wurde (auf deutsch bei Kiepenheuer und Witsch, 2018). 3 weitere Krimis von 3 Autoren erschienen bis 2023.
